About us

Founded in 2025, our aim at Crewe & Nantwich Candles is to craft high quality natural wax candles and wax melts using materials sourced from British suppliers & manufacturers, and using recyclable materials wherever possible, to create an experience that is as eco-friendly as possible.
Branding for the company takes inspiration from flags local to the company and the founder as a homage to the local community, with the logo being based on the flag of Cheshire (itself based of the coat of arms of the 5th Earl of Chester) and the gold & red quarters based on the Malbank coat of arms (which has significant historical links to the town of Nantwich, sometimes referred to as Wich-Malbank in historical texts).

Aims

• We're hoping to increase our range from 7 to between 14 to 21 Fragrances.
• Find a solution to replacing the wax melt containers currently used, moving from recyclable plastics to more sustainable packaging.
• Start making candles of our available fragrances to increase our product range. We are planning around 550g.
• Replace our (rather small and simple) wax melter to one of higher quality, so we can achieve more consistency in our products, also allowing us to improve our products aesthetics whilst still providing you with hand-poured scented wax products.

Despite starting with a minute fund, we're aiming to improve our equipment; service; and range of products as soon as possible to allow match our top quality fragrances with the high quality aesthetics of a large named brand.
